"Lakisha Reid is the owner of Evoke Art Studio. She thrives on creating spaces where creativity meets community, fostering connections and sparking inspiration . Through intuitive abstract expression, Lakisha channels emotions into bold expressive pieces that invite viewers to tap into their own stories. Her art is a reflection of the belief in the power of self expression and the beauty of shared experience.


Alexandra Edwards
Alex Edwards is the owner of Marie Rose Photography and videography studio with a passion for capturing the full spectrum of life. While documenting everything through a lens, her true focus is on celebrating women in their essence-- Showing up for them in every phase of their journey.

Jazlyn Sligh
Jazlyn is a singer-songwriter, guitarist, and Frederick, Maryland native. She is the founder of The Sound Lounge Collective, a community resource that creates collaboration and networking opportunities for rising artists in the music industry. Her music reflects empowerment across a variety of genres and encourages people to live without limits.

Jaz Parks
Jaz is the artist behind Jaz Ceramics. Their work explores the intersection of function and expression. They create pottery meant for daily use, while pushing surface and form beyond purely practical. Their teaching style reflects their own artistic approach which is fueled by curiosity, and experimentation, embracing unexpected results that emerge in the kiln

Shemica Sheppard
Shemica is the founder of R& B and Books, a mobile bookstore dedicated to celebrating Black voices, stories, and culture through literature. A passionate reader, educator, and community advocate, Shemica created R&B and Books to make meaningful, culturally relevant books more accessible while fostering connections through reading and shared dialog.

Lauren Saunders
Lauren is a registered Yoga teacher (RYT) and mindfulness coach. Her business Hey Beautiful Soul, LLC is guided by her philosophy that our outer world relationships, work, lifestyle, etc.) is a reflection of our inner world
(mindset, nervous system and connection to ones truth.) Lo creates experiences, courses and resources, that guide people to the deepest parts of themselves, activating clarity, empowerment, purpose, and peace.

Mwewa Sumbwe
Mwema is a writer, creative, activist, and community curator. From tending to her mothers house plants, to gardening and farming, to creating herbal skincare products flowers plants and the natural world have always been central in my life. Each of her offerings centers on flowers-their beauty, complexity and all we can learn from them
